While meditating I had an amazing vision of spiritual battle lines being drawn in our upper atmosphere between the God of heaven’s army and the god of this world’s army. We are about to see the final battle foretold in the book of Revelation take place between Michael the archangel and the “strongman” in order to cast Leviathan out of his seat of power in the heavens over earth. Although invisible to the human eye, the fate of the earth and its inhabitants hangs in the balance over the outcome of this battle.
Job 15:15, “God puts no trust in His saints, And the heavens are not pure in His sight,”
Job 25:5, “Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.”
Ephesians 2:2, “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”
1 John 5:19, “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the power of the wicked one.”
Leviathan is the most powerful being in the universe other than God. His power can be read about in Job 41. The Bible calls this spirit “the god of the earth.” Many people are surprised the Bible would call a demonic spirit the “god of the earth” but it is true. He has not been cast down from the heavens as of yet, although the Book of Revelation prophecies of his defeat at the end of the age.
Revelation 12:7-9, “7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
12 “…Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”What I saw is to the left, the majestic curved edge of the planet earth hanging in space beneath us, the rulership of which is to be claimed by the victor in this battle. On the right God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit were on thrones as spectators of the battle. I saw Michael the archangel volunteered to do what the angels considered a “suicide mission,” to take on Leviathan one-on-one. This is actually the true symbolism behind the story of David and Goliath. That story is a picture of the end times battle between Michael vs. Leviathan. Goliath was possessed with the spirit of Leviathan and a Nephilim descendant, having mutated DNA (six fingers and six toes = 666).
Mark 2:27, “No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.”
The “strongman,” Leviathan, is responsible for blinding and stupifying the human race. Sitting above the earth, he casts a spiritual “veil” of darkness over the hearts and minds of the earth’s inhabitants, blocking out the truth of God from reaching people’s minds. Paul the apostle talked about this spiritual veil which prevented people from seeing and coming to the truth when he preached to them.
2 Corinthians 3:14-15, “But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.”
2 Corinthians 4:4, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
One of the conditions of Christ’s return is that the gospel must first be preached to all the four corners of the earth. This has actually been made possible now. Due to communications and travel technology as well as language translation, we are finally at the point in history where the message of Christ has been spread to even the remote regions of the earth.
Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

Continuing with the vision...
I saw Michael standing in front of Leviathan but not anywhere near strong enough to defeat him on his own, but God began receiving earnest prayers from the inhabitants of the earth and did a miraculous thing. He poured out an unlimited measure of his glory and light onto Michael. Michael was transformed into a glorified almost godlike state full of light and with lightning shooting off of him. He then moved at the speed of light across Leviathan and made what must have been about 1000 incisions in less than a second. Thus the tables were turned and Leviathan began to lose power through all his wounds and sink towards the earth. This spirit being cast to earth is the fulfillment of the second trumpet of Revelation, as well as Matthew 21:21….
Revelation 8:8, “And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;”
Matthew 21:21, “If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”
Matthew 17:20-21, “ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting”
When Leviathan crash-lands on our planet (in the sea) there will be a major earthquake and tsunami that will occur. Expect to also see a major pollution outbreak affecting the ocean similar to Fukushima or the BP Horizon’s oilspill. These natural events will signify what has taken place spiritually. Thus leviathan will lose all access to the heavenlies when he lands back into the sea from which he originated.
This will be one of the most powerful times spiritually on the earth and we will see mass revival and turning to Christ as the blinders are taken off of the human race. Many people you would never think normally would accept the gospel will begin to accept it. On a side note I see the general intelligence and wisdom of all humans will increase not only spiritually but also naturally when the veil is removed, new technologies and inventions will be developed, people’s minds will have more clarity and out-of-the-box insight.
Leviathan will then emerge from the sea, where he landed after being cast down from the heavens in his fight with Michael. He recovers from his mortal wound he received in that battle and will then begin to look for a political leader to possess so he can try to regain control over the earth naturally since he was cast down spiritually (this person will become the antichrist).
Revelation 13:1-3, “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”

Can We be the Generation?
Will we be like the Moses generation that was stuck in the wilderness going in circles? Or will we be the ones to see the downfall of the strongman, the god of the world, and his replacement by Jesus Christ as ruler of the earth? One thing that is pivotal to mention, is the importance prayer, intercession, and fasting has on the outcome of this battle. It is true that we can be the generation that causes Leviathan’s defeat, thus triggering the events of the apocalypse to take place which ends with the establishment of an age of righteousness. It is not promised however. Only if the inhabitants of the earth are able to take seriously prayer, intercession, and fasting, will the god of the earth be cast down. Otherwise the heavenly battle will be at a stalemate and not take place until a later generation in the future and our pivotal opportunity will be gone, this we will miss our destiny and continue wandering in the wilderness rather than take down the giant.
Now you might ask, why does God not just use his omnipotence to “zap” leviathan? God is all powerful after all, so he could do it if he wanted. The truth is, God has already spent his all on humanity. He has already given his all by sending his Son to die for our sins on the cross. He chooses to wait until the prayers of the earth reach a sufficient intensity before intervening fully and fully empowering Michael. It is our battle as humans against the serpent (Leviathan) and his seed.
Genesis 3:14-15, “14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent… And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
God is not going to intervene if we are not bothered and we do not care about what is going on spiritually. If we are content in our everyday lives, he will wait until he finds another generation that does care. It is not God’s battle against the serpent Leviathan, it is our battle as humans.
Too often our individual and corporate prayer is powerless because we spend more time prayer for our own will rather than God’s. Example: We go to a prayer meeting and spend the time praying for unsaved relatives to come to Christ, for sick friends to be healed, success on exams or ventures, etc. To use a prayer meeting for this type of request is rebellion against God. God wants us to use the time in a prayer meeting praying for HIS WILL to be done on the earth, for the Kingdom of God to be established and strongholds of satan to be torn down. If we want prayer for our own needs, it should be done after the meeting is over. Prayer meeting is for praying God’s will into being, not our own. With our private prayer life we must also be careful that we put praying God’s will first, and after our intercession assignments are done, then pray your own needs.
Here are two relevant passages from the Book of Daniel in which Michael is shown requiring prayer before he can take down high-level principalities. I believe God would have done that same thing in Daniel’s day, where God empowered Michael based on the prayer and intercession that is given. Thus Michael becomes divinely empowered by God to do the impossible and take down high level principalities.
Daniel 10:12-13, “Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.”
Daniel 10:20-21, “and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.”
Many of us will feel prompted to learn intercession and increase our prayer life. Many people will begin waking up from sleep in the night randomly and the thought comes to mind to pray, this is the Holy Spirit alerting you that it is your watch. Also, we need to learn the biblical discipline of fasting. We each have a part to play in this no matter how small it may seem. If you feel a spiritual hunger to go on a fast, do not ignore it.
Paul the apostle spoke of Christ’s return being impeded by the “one who is restraining” and that he needed to be “taken out of the way.” Before Christ’s return and the end times can take place. Right now the path of Christ to return is being blocked by this spirit and it is our job to intercede for his removal to clear out the heavens as a path of Christ’s return.
Mark 1:3, “Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.”
2 Thessalonians 2:6-12, “And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
